This year Ukraine will be represented at OGAE Second Chance Contest by young singer Tayanna with song I love you.

Tatyana Reshetnyak, who fans may recognise as a former member of the female pop group “Goryachiy shokolad” (“Hot Chocolate”). In 2014 she failed to pass the blind auditions of The Voice of Ukraine. But a year later she managed to sing her way to the final, where she ultimately finished as runner-up. She was coached by Ukrainian singer, composer and producer Potap.

This year Tatyana has been reborn as TAYANNA. The capital letters suggest her seriousness of intent. Behind her new stage persona is Alan Badoev.  Badoev, of course, is a famed music video director who has worked with artists including Markus Riva, Sergey Lazarev and Polina Gagarina.

She took part in Ukrainian selection – Vidbir 2017 with song I Love You, an English version of her song Osen (Autumn), which comes from her debut EP: Portraits. Tatyana wrote the music and lyrics, and Max Barskih produced the track. Max also adapted the lyrics from Russian into English.

The singer reached the 2sd place in Vidbir 2017 after the winner – O.Torvald. Tayanna won the jury voting and got the 3rd place in the televoting.
