Gabi ‘Totova’ Tóth was born in 1988 in Tapolca. The singer got famous to the wider audience thanks to the participation in the second season of talent-show Megasztár, where she got the third place. One year after she released her first album – Fekete virág. In 2007, she took part in popular show A Stáb at VIVA Hungary. Two years after Tóth’s second album – Elég volt! was presented. In 2012, she took part in Hungarian selection – A Dal with song Nem kell végszó (the fifth place). The singer is also a judge in talent show X-Faktor.
In 2017 she’s started a new project with Begi Lofti – popular producer and memeber of band – Compact Disco, which represented Hungary in Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku. The project was joined by Freddie Shuman. Together they presented Hosszú idők. This project is supposed to mixture Hungarian folk music and modern sounds. Thanks to this song the project received the fifth place in A Dal 2017.
